Dr. Raúl A. Romero-Joseph is a highly skilled, board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate care to women. Born and raised in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Dr. Romero-Joseph graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Puerto Rico. He earned his medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine in 2002, where he was deeply involved in medical missions across Puerto Rico, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Cuba, reflecting his strong commitment to serving underserved communities.

Dr. Romero-Joseph completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, from 2002 to 2006. As a recipient of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship, he dedicated five years of service to medically underserved populations in Delaware and California from 2006 to 2011.

Since 2011, Dr. Romero-Joseph has practiced in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he is renowned for his compassionate approach to patient care. He is committed to building strong relationships with his patients through open communication, ensuring that they are well-informed, comfortable, and confident in their care. Dr. Romero-Joseph treats each patient with the utmost respect and dedication, valuing their trust and well-being as if they were family.

Dr. Romero-Joseph is proficient in robotic gynecological surgery and offers comprehensive obstetrical care, tailoring his treatments to the unique needs of each patient. He is also fluent in Spanish, which allows him to connect with the diverse community he serves.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Romero-Joseph enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exercising, listening to music, and dancing.

“I cannot give enough praise for the doctors at this office. My original plan for my birth was to go all natural, in a birthing center. I wanted to make sure I had complete say in my birth plan and with at least interventions as possible. My husband was not comfortable with this idea so I had to do some compromising. Not gonna lie, I was ready to go to battle at my first appointment and future appointments with the doctors at the office to ensure I was able to do everything on my birth plan. However, there was zero need. Every single doctor at this office took the time to listen and to work with me on my birth plan. In fact, most the things I requested were already standard practice for them.
