Janelle Agosto-Márquez, MD

Dr. Janelle Agosto-Márquez, a dedicated and experienced OB-GYN, was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She graduated magna cum laude with a major in biology from the University of Puerto Rico before earning her medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in 2003, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During her time at medical school, Dr. Agosto-Márquez was actively involved as a member of the admissions committee and served as the student council president.

Dr. Agosto-Márquez completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Parkland Memorial Hospital, UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, in 2007. Following her residency, she worked as a private practice physician in Newark, Delaware, before relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she has practiced for the last 15 years.

Her areas of clinical interest include high-risk obstetrics, preventive gynecological care, perimenopause and menopause management, and the evaluation and treatment of vulvar pathology. Dr. Agosto-Márquez has a particular passion for working with adolescent patients, especially in the areas of teen pregnancies and adolescent gynecological care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Agosto-Márquez is an active member of the local medical community, committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for women of all ages. She speaks fluent Spanish, which allows her to connect with a broad range of patients.

Outside of her medical career, Dr. Agosto-Márquez enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and staying active as a sports mom. She also makes exercise a priority in her life to maintain a healthy balance.

“I cannot give enough praise for the doctors at this office. My original plan for my birth was to go all natural, in a birthing center. I wanted to make sure I had complete say in my birth plan and with at least interventions as possible. My husband was not comfortable with this idea so I had to do some compromising. Not gonna lie, I was ready to go to battle at my first appointment and future appointments with the doctors at the office to ensure I was able to do everything on my birth plan.
